Lola Dorothea (Huber) Landrum, 78, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. She was an avid reader and enjoyed a good mystery novel. Lola never took herself too seriously and was known for her distinctive laugh. She enjoyed her Bunco club, doing arts and craft, and going on road trips with her late husband.
She was born on October 13, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Coy and Virginia (Robbins) Huber. In addition to her parents, Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Don Landrum; son, Darron Keith Landrum; granddaughter, Emily Landrum; and brother, Coy Louis Huber.
Lola is survived by her sister, Rox Anne Lee (Sammy); a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Tea; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Lola's wish was to be cremated, and a reception of family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a celebration of Lola's life taking place at 4:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest privately with her husband and son at Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, Indiana.
