Lois Ann (Smith) Mckechnie

Lois Ann (Smith) McKechnie, 59, wonderful and loving wife and mother, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022. She was a 1981 graduate of Floyd Central High School and had been an employee at Squire Boone for over 27 years. Lois's favorite color was, without a doubt, red, and she especially enjoyed yard saling and candles. She was always happy and managed to wear a smile on her face.

She was born on April 1, 1963, to the late Kenneth and Anna Smith. Lois is survived by her loving husband of almost 31 years, Brian McKechnie; son, Matthew McKechnie (Holly); sisters, Helen (Mike), Linda (Darrell), and Kathy; sisters-in-law, Ruth and Susan; brother-in-law, David; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
