Lois Lynch , 99, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
She was born on September 9, 1923 in Mountainburg, Arkansas to the late James and Vena (Joshlin) Vaught. She is also preceded in death by her husband Loren Lynch, son Stephen Lynch, daughter Melissa Ogburn, two sisters and three brothers.
Lois was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. As a military wife, she followed her husband, Loren, to where his postings in the US Army Medical Corp. took them. She made loving homes in post WWII Germany and Japan, as well as many locations throughout the US. The family eventually settled in San Antonio, Texas, where she remained until moving to Louisville, KY to be near her son. No matter where Lois made her home she managed to share her joyful heart with everyone around her.
Lois is survived by her son, Michael Lynch (Mary Anne), her daughter, Lisa Nagel (Chris), and her grandchildren, Patrick Lynch (Kerry), Kyle Lynch, Yeater Lynch, Cerenity Covalesky, Katie Jackson and Larry Ogburn. Lois also had seven great-grandchildren, Kassidy, Michael and Patrick Lynch, Theo Jackson and Stoney Jackson.
A private graveside service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Road San Antonio, TX 78209) where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
