Lois Kiser, 80, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. She was an excellent cook and an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan. Lois had a heart of gold and was truly loved by everyone she came into contact with.
She was born on January 8, 1934 in Pike County, Kentucky to the late Sollie and Lizzy J. (Roberts) Kiser. She was also preceded in death by 6 siblings. Lois is survived by her daughters, Deborah Churchman (John), Shawna Allen; sisters, Ollie Wilson (Jack), Ruby Branham, Wanda Thornton; brothers, Arnold Kiser (Arizona), Blake Kiser (Margaret), Donnie Kiser (Brenda); grandchildren, Laura Wampler (Danny), Jackie and Jay Churchman, Dustin Perry (Becca), Andrew Perry; great-grandchildren, Zoie, Sebastian, Collin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 AM to 8 PM Friday, September 5, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association (240 Whittington Parkway, Louisville, KY 40222).
