Lloyd B. Phelps

Lloyd B. Phelps, 78, of Radcliff, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Lloyd was a loving father, pappy, great-pappy, brother, uncle, and friend. He was the biggest Atlanta Braves Fan and never missed a game. He loved to bet the Derby and work out in his garden. His grandkids were his life and always loved spending time with them. Lloyd will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on February 15, 1944 in Morgantown, Kentucky to Marcus and Blanche (Childres) Phelps. He is preceded in death by his Father, Marcus Phelps, Mother, Blanche Phelps, Son, Mark A. Phelps, Siblings, Randall Phelps, Josephine Phelps, and Clifford Phelps.

Lloyd is survived by his loving family, Children, Timothy Lloyd (Jennifer) Phelps, Lorrie A. Lawrence, and Michael Johnson; Grandchildren, Rhonda (Paul) Downard, Emily (Keith) Galloway, Taylor (Bryce) Weidman, Anthony Phelps, Patricia (Shawn) Phelps, Madison Phelps, Marcus Phelps, and Emily Phelps; Bonus Grandchildren, Kaylynn (Elijah) Stoess, Jessica Kirk, Lucy Kirk, and Lilly Kirk; Great-Grandchildren, Kayleb Gray, ShannonKate Matthews, Kara Seabolt, Josie Downard, Kason Galloway, and Olivia Kay Hardin; Siblings, Charles (Carolyn) Phelps, Danny Phelps, and Geraldine Phelps; Bestfriend, Patricia E. Stoess; Best Buddy, Carl, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
