Lisa Nagel, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
She was born on April 9, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Dorothy (Henderson) Foil. She is preceded in death by her mother Dorothy (Henderson) Foil.
Lisa had several passions in her life. She was involved with early childhood education for many years, a medical assistant, and most recently as a registered nurse at The Kidz Club, graduating top of her class. Lisa was a devoted mother, daughter, friend, and her most precious title of Meemaw. She had a heart big enough to share with everyone. Lisa was truly a selfless person who showed kindness to all.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, William Nagel, Jr., children David Nagel, Mark Nagel, Ashley Novak (Greg), Michael Nagel (Betsy), father John Ard Foil, grandchildren Anna Novak, Ben Novak, Olivia Nagel, Adelynn Nagel, Cade Novak, siblings Teri Foil, Kreg Foil, Kirk Foil, Lori Sullivan (Bobby) and Deana Hayden (Doug). She is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A gathering to celebrate Lisa's life will be from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Wangjian Zhong, Dr. Lauren C Briley and all the other doctors and nurses at Baptist East for their excellent care for Lisa.
The family requests that contributions in Lisa's memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
