Lisa Ann Murphy

Lisa grew up in Louisville and was a graduate of Moore High School. She furthered her education at the University of Louisville for undergrad and earned a Master's degree in Media Communication. She was a loyal employee of UPS for nearly 40 years.

She considered her most important vocations to be a wife to Tony and mom to Will. They have called St. Patrick Catholic Church home for the past nine years. She was an active parishioner and passionate about her faith. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, William (Edith).

Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband Tony and son William; mother, Francis Higdon; brothers, Steve (Janetta), Rick (Terri) and Rudd; sister, Vicki Higdon Hunter; father and mother in law, James and Rita Murphy; brother and sister-in-law, James and Eleschia Murphy; three nephews and six nieces; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 9 to 10am on Friday, March 24, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church 1000 N. Beckley Station Road Louisville, Kentucky 40245. A Mass of Celebration will be there at 10am. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery at 1pm.
