Lisa M. Jumper

Lisa M. Jumper, age 54 of Louisville, Kentucky was called home to the Lord on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Lisa was born on December 30, 1968 in Louisville, KY. She was the daughter of the late Betty Jo Jumper Holloway. She was raised by her mother and stepfather O'Dell Holloway. She was a graduate of Louisville Male High School and served as a basketball team assistant. She went on to pursue a culinary education while working in multiple areas such as social services at Seven Counties.

Lisa had a beautiful smile and always loved to laugh. She was very into music and loved to sing. She glorified the Lord by singing in church choirs, including at her church St. Stephen's years ago. She was very active in her community and worked with several organizations including Service for Peace and the LMPD 2nd Division Citizens Advisory Board. Even while in Nursing homes, she organized activities for other residents to help encourage them to feel better about themselves no matter their situation. She was an avid knitter and crochetist. She made many scarves, hats, and blankets that she shared with loved ones and friends.

Lisa is survived by her brother, Darren Holloway; sister, Patricia Holloway; niece, Aaliyah Girton; stepfather, O'Dell Holloway; and stepbrother, Demetrius Holloway (Crystal); uncle, Alphonso Battle; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11am to 12pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at St. Stephens Church 1018 South 15th Street Louisville, Kentucky 40210, with a celebration of Lisa's life there at 12pm.
