Lisa Michelle Chamness, 59, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Lisa had a giving heart and was always willing to help someone in need. She had a passion for the beach and dearly loved spending time with her grandson.
She was born on December 10, 1963, in Winchester, Indiana, to the late Jerald Chamness and Laura Mills. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Nicole Brooks.
Lisa is survived by her loving fiancé, Don Hill; son-in-law, Mike LaChance; grandson, Alex LaChance; brother, Michael (Lori) Chamness; and sisters, Jerri Jo (Randy) Crist and Tammy Brown.
Cremation was chosen following Lisa's wishes, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
