Lionel Tyrone Triplett

Lionel Tyrone Triplett, 60, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
He was born on April 10, 1962, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Suzannah Triplett. He is Preceded in death by his grandmother Julia Rose Triplett, aunts Julia Boykins, Virginia T. Triplett, Maude Baynard, Mary Singleton, uncles Harold Triplett, Hartzell Triplett, Logan Triplett, Joseph Triplett and Howard Triplett.
Tyrone graduated from Shelby County High School class of 1980 where he played the trombone in the band. He was raised on the family farm in Finchville Kentucky. Tyrone served in the National Guard and the U.S. Army with 13 years of military experience. Lionel was a member at Bates Memorial Baptist Church in Louisville, KY.
Tyrone is survived by his wife Tammy Tomlin Triplett, his children by his first wife, Jordan Triplett, Nicholas Triplett and Cheyenne Timberlake (Lance), seven grandchildren, aunts and Uncles; Yvonne Triplett, Melvin Triplett, George Triplett and Evelyn Mack.
He was also survived by cousins who were raised with him on the family farm, Lisa Posey, Walter and Darnell Baynard, Gilbert Mack Jr , Dana Young and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm at 1st Harmony Worship Center 2037 Midland Trail Shelbyville KY 40065 with a reception to follow services at the church.
