Linda Marie West

Linda Marie West, born on April 13, 1948, in Louisville, KY, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, in her hometown, with her devoted family by her side. A graduate of Western High School, Linda embraced her role as a dedicated homemaker, pouring her heart and soul into caring for her family and creating a warm and loving home.

Linda was known for her compassionate personality, serving as a devoted sister and loyal friend to many. She had a passion for collecting antiques, cooking, swimming, and cherishing moments with her friends and family. Her interests reflected her vibrant spirit and the joy she found in both everyday and special occasions.

Linda's legacy lives on through her surviving family, which includes her brothers Joseph Jager (Sandy) and Larry William Jager (Connie), as well as her sister Brenda Joan Goodwin (Tom) . She is also survived by sister-in-law Vicky Jager (Johnny) and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember her kindness and warmth.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph "Joe" Jager, her mother, Hellen Marie Jager, and her brothers Johnny Jager and Mark Jager.

A visitation will be held on December 14, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, located at 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243 a private family entombment will follow the service at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

Linda Marie West will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Her spirit and memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
