Linda Louise Simpson

Linda Simpson, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Linda was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an animal lover and an avid UK fan. Linda was a great friend to all and will be remembered for her generous personality. She was a Christian by faith and had been saved. Linda will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on June 30, 1949 to Jimmie and Elsie Stotts. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Stivers; and her father, Jimmie B. Stotts.

Linda is survived by her loving family, sons, Thomas (Sherri) Probus, Donald (Pam) Willis, Jimmy (Carolyn) Willis; grandchildren, Ericca & Robert, Christopher & Tabitha, Brooklynn & Joshua, Brandon, Lindsay & Kayle, Bradley & Kelsey, Rodger & Nikki, Bradley & Lynn, Sean, Amanda & Matt, and Krista; great-grandchildren, Elisha, Isabella, Rachel, Harper, Jaydden, Raydden, Caleb, Lilly; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Her Funeral Service will be on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, Kentucky.
