Linda Sanders

Linda Marie (Stockdale) Sanders, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at her home in New Salisbury, Indiana with her loving family by her side.

Linda was born on August 16, 1946 to the late William & Pauline (Kingrey) Stockdale in Louisville, Kentucky. She was united in marriage to Edward Glenn Sanders on February 10, 1965 and to this union brought two children to bless their home. Linda's love was her family and she very much enjoyed spending time with them. Whether it was boating with her children & grandchildren or just taking a long drive with her husband. Linda also enjoyed visiting the casino to try her luck at the penny slots. She was very gifted when it came to sewing & crocheting.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Edward Sanders; children, Ken Sanders (Allyson) & Trish Schuerman (Mike); 5 sisters, Jane, Billie, Karen, Brenda, & Judy; 1 brother, David; grandchildren, Erika & Matt VanBree, Megan Sanders, & Clarissa Williams (Greg); great-grandson, Isaac. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Rachel Lee; grandson, Joel VanBree; granddaughter, April VanBree.

Her Visitation will take place from 2 to 8 PM on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and from 11 until the time of service on Monday. Funeral Services will be at 12 PM on Monday at the funeral home with burial immediately following at Mt. Eden Cemetery in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
