Linda Jean Lister, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023.
She was born on April 19, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Andrew and Irma (Lanham) Hoffman . Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Karen Cochran.
Linda was loving and devoted wife, an avid reader, enjoyed bowling, volleyball and spending time with her dogs. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Jerry Lister, sisters, Janet (Ed) Jones and Andrea (Jeff) Teague, along with her furbabies, Bubba and Emma.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
The family requests that contributions in Linda 's memory be made to Hildegard House (114 Adams Street, Louisville, KY 40206) .
