Linda Frey Hall, 81, passed peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2022 with her devoted husband Will and her family by her side.
She was born in Monk's Corner, SC to the late Edgar Mitchell Frey and Helen C. Frey. Linda was a member of the Madisonville High School Class of 1958. She attended Georgetown College, Western Kentucky University and University of Kentucky. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and her brother John Edward Frey.
Linda and her husband Will resided in Louisville most of their lives and retired later in life to Bonita Springs, FL and Elizabethtown, KY. Linda was always active in any of the churches that she was member of and also many civic organizations including the Louisville Jayceettes and she was also a faithful member of the Southeast Christian Church Easter Pageant for many years, just to name a few. She loved to entertain whether it was Will's business associates, her children's many friends- but especially, her family. Linda always loved gardening, sewing and crafting-but her ultimate love was time spent with her her grandchildren who were her Pride & Joy. Linda always said she had a favorite son though-and it was the one she was with at the time!
Linda is survived by her husband of 60 years, William E. Hall, and her three beloved sons; Mitch Hall and Kela, of Owensboro,KY; Randy Hall of Louisville, KY; and John Hall and Deborah, of Louisville, KY. Linda-"MeMe"- is also survived by six loving grandchildren; Tate Hall, Ginger Hall, Max Hall, Lily Hall, Faith Hall & Wyatt Hall. Linda is also survived by a sister, Carmen Della Frey of Franklin, KY.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Hosparus of Louisville ( 6200 Dutchmans Lane, Louisville, KY 40205) and/or Parkinson Support Center of Kentuckiana (315 Townepark Circle Suite 100, Louisville, KY 40243).
