Linda Kay Grauel

Linda Grauel, 70, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022. She enjoyed spending time in nature, especially watching birds in her yard. Linda was employed at Huber's Orchard and Winery for over 37 years. She loved her job and cared deeply for her work family. She also liked to have fun and enjoyed going to various casinos. Above all, Linda loved her family and spent much of her time with her kids and grandkids.

She was born on August 7, 1952, in New Albany, Indiana, to Joseph and Anna (Eberle) Brown. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Herman Brown; mother, Anna Mae Brown; brother, David Wayne Brown; sister, Mary Lou Brown; and grandson, Christopher Adams.

Linda is survived by her loving partner, David Greenwell, Sr.; children, Brad (Chasity) Grauel, Jeremy Grauel, Tammy (Vernon) Greenwell, Angela (Mitchell) Adams, David Greenwell, Jr., Stacie (Stephen) Greenwell, and Stephanie (Damon) McCoy; grandchildren, Jacob Grauel, Mia Grauel, Taylor Grauel, Lindsay Guelda, Skyler Young, Benny Anderson, Noah Adams, Audrianna Adams, David Greenwell III, Hannah Greenwell, Blake Lawson, Edi Lawson, Nora Lawson, and Brooke McCoy; great-granddaughter, Aurora Adams; sister-in-law, Mona Brown; mother-in-law, Margaret Greenwell; and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda's memory be made to the American Cancer Society (900 East Main Street, Louisville, KY 40206).
