Linda Ann Caummisar

Linda Ann Caummisar (McCubbins) entered eternal rest on Friday, June 9, 2023.
Linda proudly changed her name to 'Nannie' in 1988 with the birth of her first grandchild. She had five children and was lovingly referred to as Nannie by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She loved playing pinochle, bowling, crocheting, and stopping at yard sales to find 'highly sought after' trinkets and bargains; she had a flair for finding unique items.
She was born on March 14, 1951, in Munfordville, Kentucky to the late Preston McCubbins and Mary McCubbins. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Eddie McCubbins.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Gerald 'Jerry' Caummisar Sr.
Children, Angela Caummisar, Leslie Volpert (Patrick), Gerald Caummisar Jr. (Dawn Dalton), Melanie Miller (Brian) and Breanna Caummisar; Grandchildren, Justin Pearcy (Laurel), Amanda Bronson Flarsheim (Op), Matthew Bronson, Katie Welp (Rodney), Christian Volpert, Keith Jarboe, Alycia Blackford (Ben), Rion Taylor, Nolan Taylor, Preston Caummisar and Noah Caummisar; Great-Grandchildren, Quentin Flarsheim, Sallyanna Bronson, and Axel Taylor.

In life, we loved you dearly,
In death, we love you still,
In our hearts, you hold a place,
That no one could ever fill.


Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (5431 Johnstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40272).

The family requests that contributions in Linda's memory be made to St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church.
