Lillian Marie (Casey) Ford

Lillian Marie (Casey) Ford, age 75 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

Lillian “Sister” Ford loved praising the Lord. She wore a bright smile, had a comforting spirit and she never met a stranger. Lillian was a proud graduate of the Jefferson County Public School system. She spent most of her life being a homemaker & nurturing her family. She enjoyed cooking meals alongside her loved ones, especially her grandchildren.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Hatherine Miller & William Casey Sr.; spouse, Walter Ford Jr.; son, Frederick Casey; and siblings William “Bill” Casey, Leonard Casey, & Betty Owens.

Lillian is survived by her special great-granddaughters, Lakyn & Lay’Jah whom she adore; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She enjoyed being “Granny” to all that encountered her.

A gathering to celebrate Ms. Lillian's life will be from 3 to 6pm on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, Southwest Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40272. Private burial will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central with her late husband.
