Libby "Lou" Adams Richard was born on May 19, 1962 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to the late Ms. Letha Campbell. She was raised in Louisville, Kentucky.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined St. Benedict Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended and graduated from Manual High School then went on the proceed in the Medical Field as a Certified Nursing Assistant and XRay technician. She worked at Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Center for over thirteen plus years.
Libby "Lou" was known for her big heart and amazing spirit. She loved to travel and take lots of trips with her girls, the "PPG's". Libby was someone that never met a stranger and was a kind and understanding person who loved her family and friends. Dr. Hubbard and his family she truly loved as well as her co-workers and the patients whom she took care of. She was a true die heart Louisville Cardinal fan.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tony Campbell; mother, Letha Campbell; sister, Robbie Osuamkpe; nephew, James Spencer; father-in-law, Helery Spencer, Jr. "Hillside"; and cousin, Dejuan Henry.
She leaves to cherish her precious and loving memories to her brother, Ronald "Anthony" Muhammad and wife Sherri Muhammad; sister-in-law, Angela Spencer-Linear; nieces, Shanika Spencer, LaQuita Spencer; nephew, Charles Spencer; and great nieces and nephew Da'Nya, Danasia, KeAsia "Muff", Tony, Damion "Tigga", and Tyrell; her long time true friend of 40 plus years, Mr. James Brown brother-in-laws, Collin, Big Man, Jermont, and Sean; cousins, Tasha, Tay, Brian, Phil; as well as a host of extended family friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel.
