Lewis Edward Tucker

Lewis Edward Tucker, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023. Lewis was a loving and devoted husband, father, and papaw. His passion in life was working on cars, so much so that he built a career as a skilled auto body frame tech. Lewis will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on November 2, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Margie (Holland) Tucker. He is preceded in death by his mother, Margie L. Tucker; father, James H. Tucker; brothers, Tony Tucker, Jerry Tucker; and sister, Louise Hundley.

Lewis is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Teri Tucker; son, Jeremy (Amanda) Tucker; daughter, Tiffany M. (Anthony) Mills; son, Joshua Tucker; grandchildren, Haley Tucker, Shay'Lynn Tucker, Macyn Tucker, Jayden Lyvers, Olivia Mills, Taylor Tucker; brothers, James Leon (Susan) Tucker, Danny (Teresa) Tucker, Larry (Teresa) Tucker; sister, Kelly Nelson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that Lewis cherished.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of his life will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Lewis's memory be made to Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions to go towards his final expenses.
