Sawyers, Lewis D. (Buddy), 51 of Louisville, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014. "Buddy as everyone knew him was a gentle soul."
He was a member of Heart of Fire City Church.
Buddy was the son of Beatrice Eversole Callahan.
He is preceded in death by his son Jason Sawyers, and his father Woody Sawyers.
Survivors include his mother, Bea Callahan; Sisters, Glo Sawyers, Blondie Norris (Robbie) and Kathy Woods; Brothers, Woody Sawyers (Betty) and Ronnie Callahan and Clayton Ginter; 2 Nephews; 5 Nieces; 4 Grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Southeast Christian Church.
Visitation will be held at Southeast Christian Church 920 Blankenbaker Parkway, in the Chapel, Monday, April 28, 2014 from 2pm-4pm with a Funeral Ceremony immediately following.
