Levi Arthur Titus, Jr.

Levi Arthur Titus, Jr., 77, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023. Jr. was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. After serving his country, he worked for the Louisville Fire Department, retiring as a Captain. In retirement, he began his true calling as a minister in several area churches.

He was born on May 20, 1945, in Seymour, Missouri, to the late Levi Titus, Sr., and Hazel (Fye) Titus. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant brother, James Titus.

Levi is survived by his loving wife, Janie Titus; children, Lisa (Mark) Barr, James (Patricia) Titus, Carla Lawson, and Debbi (Mark) Palmer; grandchildren, Aaron Lawson, Phillip Carter, Emily (Nate) Kelch, Megan (Ben) Howson, Rachel Barr, Alexandria Palmer, Hannah Palmer, Lauren Titus, Matthew Titus, and Jacob Titus; great-grandchildren, Michael Lawson, Charleigh Lawson, Serenity Lawson, Jasper Lawson, Ryleigh Lawson, Ava Gamble, Montreal Kelch, and Bentli Kelch; and brother, Roy (Jane) Titus.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
