Levena Mae Mosley

Levena Mae Mosley, 81, currently of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, formally of Louisville, KY passed away on January 27, 2023.

She was born on May 18, 1941, Louisville, Kentucky to the late John and Mary (Stevens) Mosley. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Mosley, John Mosley, sisters Mary Mosley, Ruby O'Neal, Peggy Soeder, Shirley Shelden; and granddaughter, Ashley Robbins.

She was a member of Hazelwood Baptist Church, a University of Louisville cardinal fan, and previously owned her own cleaning service for many years prior to retiring.

Levena is survived by her children, Bill Poole, Larry Poole, Cindy Ashby (Glenn), David Poole (Karen), Teressa Whitaker (Donnie), and Becky Robbins (Charlie); sisters, Doris White and Nancy Fox; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Levena was the life of the party and never met a stranger. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville KY 40243).

Visitation will also be held from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 12:00/Noon on Friday, February 3, 2023 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
