LeRoy Denny 84, of Floyds Knobs, died peacefully on December 17, 2013 at Lincoln Hills Health Center in New Albany. LeRoy was a member of Grace Assembly of God in Palmyra, American Legion Post 42, and Masonic Lodge 191 where he was a past master Mason. LeRoy retired from Southern Railroad as a freight conductor.
He was born December 22, 1928 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky to the late Claude and Ruth Denny.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter Teresa Denny of Hardinsbug, Indiana; and brothers Fred and Claude "Tom" Denny. LeRoy is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carolyn; sons, Martin Denny, William (Jennifer) Denny; grandchildren, Stephen and Rachel Denny.
Following LeRoys wishes a cremation was chosen and burial will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky at a later date.
