Leonne Ozerus

Leonne Ozerus, born on December 11, 1960, in Saint Raphael, Haiti, passed away on February 23, 2025, in Skokie, Illinois, surrounded by her loving family. Leonne was a dedicated mother and step-mother whose love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She cherished her children, Wislet Mulatre and Macien Mulatre, as well as her step-children, Willy Mulatre and Modelene Mulatre.

A member of the St. Raphael Catholic Church in Haiti, Leonne found strength and solace in her faith. 

Leonne is preceded in death by her father, Verdieu Ozerus, and her mother, Brunette Bel. Their legacy lives on through her children, who carry forward the values and love instilled in them by their beloved mother.

Her memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her kindness. Leonne Ozerus's life was a testament to love, faith, and family, and she will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (2253 W Saint Joe Road, Sellersburg, Indiana). Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am on Saturday, at the church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
