Lennis Darrell "Lenny" Dutschke, of Louisville, formerly of Iola (Grimes County), Texas, died December 24, 2022 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
He was born November 3, 1946, in Louisville to the late Charles Omar and Gladys Fern (Dunn) Dutschke. He was a 1964 graduate of DuPont Manual High School and attended the University of Louisville. For 35 years he was an Impression Die Sinker for Interstate Southwest Forging Company in Navasota, Texas.
He attended Stone's View United Methodist Church in Grayson County, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Darrell Len Dutschke.
Lenny is survived by his wife, Marqueta Litsey DeJarnette; sons, James Everett, Charles Len, and Shannon Len Dutschke, all of Texas; two grandchildren, Cameron Parker Dutschke and Taylor Nicole Dutschke Bolanos and great-grandchildren, Grayson Dutschke, Gisela and Julio Bolanos.
A celebration of Lenny's life will be Saturday, January 7, 2023, Stone's View UMC, 66 Stone's View Road, Leitchfield, KY, 42754, with Reverend Mike Strehl and Reverend Scott Milby officiating, beginning at 11am Central Standard Time.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Stone's View UMC c/o Jean Coates, 3937 Shrewsbury Road, Leitchfield, KY 42754 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
