Lena Mae Fields

Lena Mae Fields, age 89, passed away in Louisville, KY on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. She was born July 7, 1934 in Letcher County to the late Charlie & Liza Ross. She was a homemaker with an avid love of gardening, the outdoors and shopping at "Macy's" (Goodwill.) She was a devoted wife to Lovell Fields, and mother to Margaret Dunsmore, both of whom preceded her in death.

Lena is survived by her son, Terry Fields (Diane); granddaughters, Dianna Sanneman (Ely) and Jillia Clark (James); and great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Liam & Meadow; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 9am to 11am on Monday, April 8, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of Lena's life will be 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 3pm in Clear Fork Cemetery, Waynesburg, KY 40489.
