Layne S. Kendrick, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023. First and foremost Layne loved himself some Beverly. He had a quiet demeanor, loved photography, fishing, and sports. He loved to put a smile on peoples faces. He liked watching westerns, sci-fi and scary movies. Layne will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who truly knew him.
He was born on June 10, 1947 in Akron, Ohio to Lemuel and Mary (Norris) Kendrick. He is preceded in death by his Father, Lemuel Kendrick, Mother, Mary Kendrick, Siblings, Keith Kendrick and Larry Kendrick.
Layne is survived by his loving Wife of 54 years, Beverly Ann Kendrick; Daughters, Linnet (Robert) Kendrick-Hodoh and Felicia Hill; Grandchildren, Lamar Kendrick, Glenn Hill, Ty'Rayle Hill, Ty'Licia Hill, Brandon Hill, Byron Hill, and Brenaye Hill; Great-Granddaughter, Blaze Kendrick; Sister, Elaine (Mark) Colvin, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.
Per Layne's Wish he will be cremated with no other services at this time.
The family requests that contributions in Layne's memory be made to His wife Beverly Kendrick (8515 Bronzewing Ct. Louisville, KY 40299).
