Lawrence Miller

Lawrence Allen Miller, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 11, 2015. Larry enjoyed many outdoor activities including running, kayaking, biking, and hiking. He completed the Boston Marathon, Appalachian Trail, and was an Olympic Torch Relay Runner. Larry was an active member of the T.J. Unitarian Church. He was a volunteer for many organizations including Bernheim Forest. Larry was a long-time member of the Louisville Hiking Club, Iroquois Hill Runners, and KISHAW. He was also an Army Veteran.

Larry was born on February 1, 1940, Louisville, Kentucky to the late Howard and Helen Miller.

Larry is survived by his children, daughters, Ann Lorraine McIntosh (Ernie) and Jean Maloney (Pat); sons, Thomas Allen Miller and James Lee Miller; grandchildren, Nick, Alex, Jacob, Trinity, Christopher, and Anna; a caring brother and sister-in-law, Robert Miller (Carol); and a host of family and many dear friends.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Larry's life will be Saturday, August 15th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thomas Jefferson Unitarian Church (4936 Brownsboro Road, Louisville, KY). A Gathering will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church as well.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bernheim Forest.
