Lawrence P. Devine

Lawrence P. "Honker" Devine, 69, of Sonora, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

He was born on June 30, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Kenneth and Patricia (Linehan) Devine. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Lee Devine and his granddaughter, Samantha Morgeson.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Ronda Devine, daughter, Shannon (Brian) Devine, son, Shawn Devine, grandchildren, Lyndsey (Jeremy) Jeffries, Desiree (Austin) Devine, Alyssa (Michael) Oller, Ethan Devine and Britton Wilson, great grandchildren, Grayson Jeffries, Elaina Jeffries, Ashlynn Oller, Ava Oller, Reagan Oller, his sister, Kathleen Nix and a shit ton of nieces and nephews that will miss him very much.

Larry was a life time member of Knob Creek Gun range " his second home"; to say he was a gun enthusiast was putting it very lightly. He enjoyed watching NASCAR on Sunday's with Ronda and tinkering with his flashlights, ropes, knives and lighters. Larry liked watching his horror and sci-fi movies while enjoying his adult beverage.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 15th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, May 16th at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Larry 's memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
