Lavalia Ann Zachary, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023.
She was born on November 11, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Herman and Gwendolyn (Jones) Zachary. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Herman Zachary and Gwendolyn Williams.
Lavalia is survived by her loving family, Daughters, Carol Ann (Dan) Smith, Victoria Lynn Townes, and LaTonya Denise (Lawrence) Breed; Grandchildren, LaValia (Willie) Williams, JaQualla Tapscott, and Wendell Wilson; 5 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Jerry (Linda) Zachary; Sister, Kim (Earnest) Stuart, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Home Going Service will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
