Laura Jane Whitmore

Laura Jane Whitmore, 59, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023. Laura was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and pet lover. She never met a stranger and made friends everywhere she went. She was an active member of Mt. Holly Church for 24 years. Christmas was her favorite holiday, where she kept a regular reminder of the count down until Christmas. Laura will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on November 9, 1964 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to Donald and Geneva (Smothers) Warren.

Laura is survived by her loving family, Father, Donald (Peggy) Warren, Sr., Mother, Geneva Persun; Husband of 37 years Charles Brent Whitmore; Children, Robert B. (Pamela) Whitmore and Brandi L. (Aaron) Young; Bonus Daughter, Amanda Duree; Grandchildren, Sundae Whitmore, Skylar Whitmore, and Laci Young; Siblings, Donnie (Donna) Warren, Jr., Diana (Stanton) Noe, Jamie (Linda) Warren, and Hope (Tommy) Reynolds, as well as a host of step-siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 8, 2024 and on Tuesday January 9, from 10 am to 12 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday following visitation, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery in Fairdale, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Laura's memory be made to Mt. Holly Global Methodist Church (804 Mt. Holly Rd. Fairdale, KY 40118).
