Laura Ann Shields

Laura Ann Shields, 53, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Laura enjoyed playing the Lottery, going to the Casino, and playing Bingo. She loved the thrill of hitting the Jackpot or winning big. She was a loving Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, and a proud dog Mom to "Max". Laura was a good hearted person and was the greatest person with sweetest soul. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was born on February 5, 1969 in Louisville, Kentucky to Robert and Pat (Stanford) Jones. She is preceded in death by her Father, Grandmother, Lillian Stanford, and Sister, Tina Miniard.

Laura is survived by her Daughters, Jennifer (Paul) Gamez, and Melissa (Larry) Smith, Mother, Pat Jones, Grandchildren, Angelita Myers, Paul Gamez, Jr., and Xavier Gamez, Great-Grandchild, Saraiya Turner, and Brother, Todd Jones. Laura also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Friends and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
