Laura Anne Matthews

Laura Anne Matthews, age 39 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020. She was born in Miami, Florida on March 30, 1981 the daughter of Joseph W. Matthews and the late Debra Lucas Matthews. Laura was a Certified Nursing Assistant, a member of Southeast Christian Church, a loving mother, daughter and friend. She was preceded in death by her brother, J.R. Matthews.

Laura is survived by her loving husband, James Reesor; sons, Isaiah and Calvin Reesor; her father, Joseph Matthews and her step-mother, Janice Matthews; step-brother, Michael Lucas (Michele); aunts and uncles, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 10 am to 12 pm Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky (in Middletown) with a celebration of Laura's life at 12 pm. Burial will follow in Floydsburg Cemetery.
