Laura Louise Farris

Laura Louise Farris, 70, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Laura enjoyed hiking, drawing, clay working, country drives, feeding ducks, and most importantly spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was born on June 5, 1953 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Russell and Edna (Fitzpatrick) Farris. Laura graduated from Jeffersonville High School and later attended Indiana University Southeast. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Laura is survived by her loving children, David (Jennifer) Jeffers and Brandy Jeffers; grandchildren, Jasmine, Isabelle, Isaac, and Lily; great grandchildren, Isaiah and Brooklyn; three brothers, Russell Farris, Jr., Steve Farris, and Ronnie Farris; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at a later date.

The family requests that contributions in Laura's memory be made to the family in care of David and Brandy Jeffers.
