Latosha Renee Effinger

LaTosha Renee Effinger, 35, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 4, 1980 to Connie McFarland and the late Tony L. Whitlow.

In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her brother, Davon Effinger and her paternal grandmother, Esther Whitlow.

Latosha is survived by her mother, Connie Effinger McFarland; step-father, Rodney McFarland; two son, Timious Scott and Ty'Sean Effinger; maternal grandparents, Charlesetta Effiner-Warren and Ravone Effinger; siblings/cousin Shanika Bradshaw, Tiohnra Robinson, Tissiohn Starks, Shakeria Starks, Shakeena Starks, Taylor Wright, Tojuan Starks, Tre' Wright and Tre' Offitt; Lativia Effinger and Joseph Effinger; God Sisters, Thomasina Winters and Ty'Ronda Fuller; cousin, Shavon Thompson and Natia Sutton Stinson; God Mother, Valeria Ferguson Morris and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church, 3540 Garland Avenue, with burial to follow in Green Meadows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the church on Friday. Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel entrusted with arrangements.
