Larry Wayne Carpenter

Larry Wayne Carpenter, 50, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. He was an employee of Delta Services and a member of the IBEW Local Union 369. Larry enjoyed camping, stringing on his guitar, and going for rides on his Harley.

Larry was born on August 23, 1963 in Hamilton, Ohio to Barbara (Murray) French and the late William Carpenter. Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife of many years, Cozy (Flohr) Carpenter; daughters, Tiffany Henderson, Angela Seacat, Chelsea Carpenter; siblings, Jeff Carpenter, Tonya Mardis (Homer); grandchildren, Madalynn, Jackson, Hayden, and Olivia.

Cremation was chosen following Larry's wishes. A reception of family and friends will be from 4 to 6 PM Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) with a Memorial Service taking place at 6 PM in the chapel at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association (161 St. Matthews Ave., Suite 3, Louisville, KY 40207).
