Larry W. Virgin age 65 went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2013. He was a devoted Christian and loving husband and father. Larry attended Spoken Word Tabernacle. He showed his true love for the Lord by witnessing to every nurse, doctor, and visitor that God was holding him in the palm of His hand throughout his illness.He was owner and operator of Smith and Logsdon Inc and was known as "Boss" by his employees that loved him. Larry was known by all as an honest man, a gentleman, and a hard worker. Larry was a proud Army Veteran serving in capacity of The Military Police, stationed in Germany.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Cheri of 28 years, son David, sisters; Barbara Bowen(Lauren), Myrna Guillen, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Larry's entire life was centered around his Savoir, Jesus Christ. This was reflected in his work, his home life and with every one he met. He never failed to mention his Lord in conversation and in his final trial, The Anchor held in spite of the storm.

Visitation will be Wednesday May 15, 2013 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive Louisville,Ky . Service will be Thursday May 16, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home at 11am with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
