Larry Allen Schooler, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 20, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on September 16, 1949, Larry lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family and country.
Larry proudly served his country in the Navy, demonstrating unwavering commitment and bravery. His service was a testament to his strong sense of duty and patriotism.
After his time in the Navy, Larry found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a special fondness for Hallmark movies, always appreciating their heartwarming stories and happy endings. He was also an avid card player, delighting in the camaraderie and friendly competition that came with every game.
Above all, Larry cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He made countless memories with them, filling their lives with laughter, love, and wisdom.
Larry lived a life of profound faith, joy and kindness. His strong belief in Jesus was the cornerstone of his life, and he faced his final days with a deep sense of peace, knowing that he was bound for heaven.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Peggy Schooler and his sister Linda McCarty. He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Suzette, his three children and their families Brett (Cheryl), Morgan (Matt), Todd (Amanda), his seven grandchildren, and his siblings Gary and Janis (Alan).
His legacy of kindness, humor, and love will live on through them and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Larry will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire and guide those he left behind.
A celebration of his life will be held to honor his memory and the remarkable impact he had on so many lives on August 17, 2024 at Southeast Christian Church- Chapel in the Woods at 10am.
