Larry R. Earls

Larry R. Earls, 55, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday morning, September 28, 2010 with his loving wife by his side. He was a member of Meadow Hill Baptist Church in Louisville and the Christian Motorcyclist's Association. The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the staff of Vista Care in southern Indiana, the Jewish Hospital Transplant Center, and Dr. Alfonso Cervera of the Kentuckiana Cancer Institute.

Larry was born on September 10, 1955 in Louisville.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Jerrie A. (Walston) Earls; son, Eric Harris and his wife, Amy, of Louisville; step-daughters, Tiffany Taylor of Sellersburg, Indiana, Stacey Jacobs of New Albany, Indiana, Sonia Marshall and her husband, Kent, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; sisters, Donna Lairson of Louisville, and Sheila Earls of Clarksville, Indiana; grandchildren, Ethan, Riley, Izabella, Jenna, Maggie, Olyvia, Madison, and Abigayle; nephews, Jeremy and Travis Lairson, and Jesse Earls.

His visitation will take place on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 2 PM to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and after 12 noon on Friday, October 1, at Meadow Hill Baptist Church (5513 Minor Lane, Louisville). Larry's Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM at the church with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
