Larry "Snake" Lewis Meyer, 79, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
He was born on September 2, 1943 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Lloyd and Kathleen Wolfe Meyer. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbi Jo Meyer; and brothers, Donnie and David Meyer.
Snake is survived by his children, Tim (Jerry) Meyer, Kimberly Ruttle, Christy (Romney III) Hampton and Joshua Meyer; grandchildren, Garrett Ruttle, Romney Hampton, IV, Riley Hampton and Logan Hampton; his dogs that he considered as kids, Sid & Gracie "Woofie"; and a ton of friends that he loved spending time with.
Cremation was chosen following Snake's wishes and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family requests that contributions in Snake's memory be made to Kosair for Kids (PO Box 950136, Louisville, KY 40295-0136) or Hosparus Health of Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Ln, New Albany, IN 47150).
