Larry Frank Mccoy

Larry Frank McCoy, 78, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023. He was a member of American Legion Post 28 in New Albany. Larry enjoyed watching golf and car racing, attending baseball games, and making trips to the casino. The most important thing to Larry was his family, and he loved his wife immensely.

He was born on December 25, 1944, in Milan, Tennessee, to Robert McCoy and Lula (Pullen) Kost. In addition to his parents, Larry was also preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew McCoy; brother, Jim Kost; and son-in-law, Randy Corbitt.

Larry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ruby (Stewart) McCoy; children, Elizabeth Corbitt, Roger Garriott (Debbie), Larry McCoy, Alan McCoy (Adrienne), and Doug McCoy; sister, Jodie Kost; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with cremation to follow according to Larry's wishes.
