Larry Joseph Uhl, Sr., 57, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on June 6, 2014. Larry was a truck driver over 22 years for All Star Trucking in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He attended Revolution Church in Clarksville. With his heartwarming and fun-filled nature, he was the "Corn Hole Champion" among his friends and family. His hobbies included model cars and board games.
Larry was born on July 23, 1956, in New Albany, Indiana to the late Leroy and Margaret Uhl.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Carolyn J. (Hutchison) Uhl; sons, Joey (Linda) and Brad (Wendy Byrn) Uhl; daughters, Abbie Pauley (Jay) and Sherry Waters (Timothy); sisters, Debbie Bouvier (Gary), Sandi Phillips (Tim), and Lori Uhl; brother, Tom Uhl (Paula); nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers and sisters-in-law, Diana and Kevin Spencer, Wesley and Chrissi Hutchison, and Tony and Christie Hutchison; parents-in-law, William and Jean Hutchison, and a great nephew who was his inspiration, his fellow cancer warrior, "Dynamic King" David Hutchison..
Visitation will be 2 to 8 PM Monday, June 9, 2014 and 12 to 2:30 PM on Tuesday, June 10 at Newcomer (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Larry's wishes.
