Larry Allen Funk

Larry Allen Funk, 82, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023. Larry enjoyed golfing and spending his winters in Haines City, Florida. Above all else, Larry dearly loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was born on April 22, 1940, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Clyde Funk and Virgil "Virgie" (Dooley) Funk. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Chinn and Shirley Brown; brother, Darrell Funk; and sister-in-law, Violet Funk.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Jane Funk; son, Lynn (Vicky) Funk; son, James (Sylvia) Funk; brothers, Ralph Funk and Gary Funk; brother-in-law, Bill Chinn; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Tim) Titzer, Jennifer (Peyton) Balasko, and Brian Funk; and great-grandchildren, Marlo, Eleanor, Benjamin, and Riley.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow in accordance with Larry's wishes.
