Larry F."Unclebuck" Brown

Larry F. "Uncle Buck" Brown, 75, of New Albany, passed away on December 24, 2012. He retired from Cissell Manufacturing in Louisville and attended The Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness. Larry was an avid horseman who enjoyed both riding and training. He never met a stranger and was dearly loved by all, especially his family.

Larry was born on February 17, 1937 in Corydon, Indiana to the late James F. and Geneva J. (Howard) Brown. He is survived by his wife of over 57 years, Lena L. (Newbolt) Brown; children, Larry J. Brown (Tina), Charles Newbolt (Pearl), Wilson Newbolt, Craig Brown (Kimberly), Patrick Baker; siblings, James Avon Brown (Marion), Shirley Rogester, Deborah White (Charles), Maxine Brown, Alease Rowe; grandchildren, Christina Brown, Cindy Brown, Larry Brown, Jr. (Stevie), Wilson Newbolt, Tyler Brown, Constance Brown, Tray and Tevin Douglas.

Visitation will be from 12 PM to 8 PM Friday, December 28, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln., New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 1 PM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
