Lance Horne

Lance Horne, 52, of Louisville, KY passed away on January 1, 2014 in Paducah, KY. Lance built his own company from the ground up. He was a proud and dedicated father to three children. Lance generously gave of himself to the Angel Tree and the Make-a-Wish Foundation. He always gave what he had to others.

Lance was born on December 29, 1961, in Louisville to the late William and Belle (Stamper) Horne. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wade Horne.

He is survived by his children; Amber Lanae Miller, Joseph Corey Horne and kids Jada and Aries, Hannah Grace Horne, and Derek Baier; girlfriend, Janice Cleary; Sister, Gail Boyer and kids Neisja Crawford (Zac) and daughter Elowen Crawford; Heather Wempe (Jerry) and kids Austin Smith and Dakota Higgs; Jason Wempe (Jennifer) and son Isaac Wempe; Thorin Boyer and daughter Leah Boyer. Brother,Bartley Horne and kids Abbie sharp (Chris) and their kids Cameron Stinnett, Tyler Stinnett, Jaxson Sharp and Madyson Sharp; Candice Steenburgen and Brianna Horne and son Josh Meyer Jr. Brother, Wesley Bill Horne (Joie) and kids Joshua Horne and Daniel Horne.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Funeral Ceremony will be 10:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
