LaKisha Marie Marshall "Kisha" entered this world on July 12, 1975 in Louisville, KY to Robert Marshall and Martha Marshall. After a courageous battle with cancer, she was crowned on Sunday, July 16, 2023.
She was the youngest of three siblings. She graduated from DuPont Manual High School. She was a devoted EDI Analyst for 15 years at United Healthcare. She had a passion for cooking and traveling. She cherished her family and friends and cared for them dearly. She really enjoyed being the host of family gatherings.
Kisha was a beautiful, loving, kindhearted woman. She enjoyed laughter and fun. She would light up the room with her contagious smile and made everyone around her feel like family. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Kayla Nichols; her parents Robert Marshall and Martha Marshall, sister LaSonia Madison (Juarez), brothers Robert Marshall Jr., Robert Brown, and Kiro Young, nephew Tyron White, niece Tanesha White, great-nephew Marc Montgomery, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her grand-dog Bailee Reese.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 11a.m.-1p.m. with a celebration of LaKisha's life beginning at 1pm.
LaKisha will be laid to rest at Green Meadows Cemetery, 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY, immediately after the funeral service.
