Kristin Nicole Longaker, 27, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
She was born on August 18, 1994 in Louisville, Kentucky to Michael and Sherilyn Longaker. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Pa Longaker and Grandpa Wientjes.
Kristin played basketball for Moore High School; graduating in 2013. As a kid she enjoyed fishing and hunting with her dad. Kristin will always be remembered for being the life of the party and making people laugh. She had such a caring personality and was always wanting to help others. Even after death her ability to help others continued; she was able to save 5 lives as organ donor. Her time on this earth was short, but she left a life time of memories that will be carried on through her mom, dad and siblings. She will be truly missed by all.
Kristin is survived by her loving parents, Michael and Sherilyn Longaker, siblings, Valerie (John) Schmitt and Sam (Destiny) Longaker, nephews, Brinnley Blaszczyk and Lucas Schmitt, grandmothers, Rita Wientjes, Dorothy Druin and Rita Longaker.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service celebrating her life will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at St. Andrew Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Kristin 's memory be made toward her final expenses.
