Kristie Marie Gonzalez

Kristie Maupin-Gonzalez, 45, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Kristie was a spirit of many things. She always enjoyed traveling to Florida, expressing herself in music, and an avid animal lover. A caring person, and always shared her kindness with her neighbors AKA "The Candy Lady". Baking was a true passion of hers and she will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on July 3, 1978 in Louisville, Kentucky to Glenn and Charlotte (Peak) Maupin. She is preceded in death by her Father, Cecil "Glenn" Maupin.

Kristie is survived by her loving family, Mother, Charlotte Marie Jamieson; Children, Matthew Lotz, Miguel Gonzalez, and Lilyanna Gonzalez; Siblings, Robert G. (Jenny) Maupin, Shawna (Danny) Curry, and Melissa (Charles) Davis; Significant Other, Larry Kincaid, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:00 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Kristie's memory be made to Local Humane Society.
