Krista E. Hagedorn

Krista E. Hagedorn, 27, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 4, 2012. She loved music, singing, dancing, and animals. Most importantly, Krista enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was born on August 2, 1985 in Louisville to Eugene A. "Gene"Hagedorn and Denise L. (Bowman) White. Along with her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Kyle Hagedorn (Nikki), Shauna Hagedorn, Janeen Vest (Steve); nieces and nephews, Ethan Vest, Brayden and Katy Hagedorn; grandparents, Raymond and Augusta Hagedorn, Joan Bowman; step-father, Mark White; and several aunts and uncles. Krista was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Bowman; and fiancé John Burkardt.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 10 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
